Global warming has become the reality of our time and ECO LifeStyle Homes is poised to supply the housing market with the products to go green and reduce energy costs of major utilities. A true ECO LifeStyle Home is not complete without an ECO Energy System analysis of the projected energy costs of a home or light commercial retail building. Energy efficient buildings start with the ECO LifeStyle environmental insulated wall Panelization system that is an energy efficient structure year round.

With the advances in the Solar and Windmill energy generation systems coupled with the advanced energy storage systems ECO and its ECO Energy Division is currently developing new advanced patented solar supply systems that will be able to power the average home for a fraction of the cost of most utility companies throughout most of the continental United States and Latin America.

ECO WILL HELP DEVELOP THE RIGHT ENERGY SYSTEM
A solar power system on an ECO building is long term, low risk, and offers a high return approach to invest your money, reduce rising energy costs and allow energy usage even in a black out. Solar offers an initial annual return on investment between 5% to11% and could even reach as high as 25 percent (25%) per year as energy costs skyrocket.

As annual utility rates increase, the annual return on investment increases. More importantly, solar power can reduce or eliminate your electric bill. In addition, any excess solar power can be fed into the utility grid resulting in a credit with the utility company. Some businesses may be able to take advantage of time-of-use metering*

*(Time of Use) A rate schedule in which the utility customer is charged different amounts for power based on the time of day and season. Typically peak rates are during summer afternoons. Solar customers who generate power during peak rates will be credited by the utility company at those peak rates. This will allow solar users to feed power into the grid during peak times (when power is most expensive), and draw power from the grid during off peak times (when power is cheaper).

ECO’s goal is take a portion of our profits to help develop energy systems for underdeveloped countries for remote villages to help produce electricity for wells to bring in water and create hydroponic farming for vegetables, fruits and seafood products.  With energy prices skyrocketing, ECO Energy Systems are more viable than ever before.  ECO is working with major solar engineers and companies to develop our own ECO Energy uni-solar roofing panel with new Rotary storage technology to maximize delivery to the house grid.

The cost of a solar electric system can vary significantly depending on the amount of power required. Industrial facilities for solar energy will require special systems to meet specific energy requirements.  A small business may only require a $15,000 system, while an industrial facility may require a $200-500k system. Depending on the needs and size of an ECO panelized home the prices can vary from $7,000 to $25,000.
A significant portion of the cost is paid for through the government with some states offering Tax Credits and Federal Tax Credits. In addition to state rebates and incentives, the Federal government offers a 30% Federal tax credit on solar power systems, and allows businesses to use accelerated depreciation to depreciate the system over six-years.

The cost of a solar electric system can vary significantly depending on the amount of power required. A home with a $50/month electric bill will require a completely different system than a home with a $500/month electric bill. For this reason residential systems vary in cost from $10k-100k.

A solar power system on your home is a long term, low risk, high return method to invest your money. Solar offers an initial annual return on investment of 4% to 10%. This is very competitive with other higher risk investments such as stocks and bonds. As utility rates increase the annual return increases. Your Electric Utility offers special rate incentives such as: Tiered Rates
All SDG&E, SCE, and PG&E customers are billed using a tiered rate plan. Under this rate plan the more power you use the more you are charged for that power. Higher tiered power can cost more than double what you pay for your baseline. Solar power has the advantage of replacing your higher tiered power first. Customers who are currently exceeding their baseline usage will see even more significant savings by installing a solar power system.

Many homeowners finance their system with funds from a home mortgage or home equity line of credit. It is often the case that loan payments are similar or less than what a homeowner would have been paying the utility company for their power. In addition, the homeowner now owns a solar electric system that adds value to their property, and protects them from future utility rate increases.

In addition to this direct return through utility savings, homeowners can also expect that their property resale value will increase substantially. An article in the Appraisal’s Journal showed that property resale values will increase $10 to $20 for every $1 saved annually in electricity.

A significant portion of the cost is paid for through government incentives. The California Energy Commission (CEC) offers a rebate for homes and small commercial systems that covers 25-50% of the total system cost. In addition the Federal government has a $2,000 tax credit that further reduces the cost of the initial investment. Some states offer no incentives while others states offer different incentives. Your ECO representative will help you determine the maximum incentives and energy savings on your new ECO Panelized Structure.

Some homeowners may be able to take advantage of time-of-use metering. This will allow you to feed power into the grid during peak times (when power is most expensive), and draw power from the grid during off peak times (when power is cheaper). Customers in PG&E territory are best able to take advantage of time-of-use metering.
